Ride Description: Caro-Seuss-el is a colorful, wacky carousel appropriate for guests of all ages. In place of your traditional horses, you’ll find all manner of strange imaginative Dr. Seuss characters.

Watching over it all from above is the sweet, gentle Horton the Elephant. Check out your create for reins or a small lever. Operating this will make various parts of the animal move, giving it a whole new sense of life.

Getting Ready: If you’re not familiar with Horton the Elephant, get to know him in “Horton Hears a Who” or “Horton Hatches the Egg” by adding these books to your bedtime repertoire in the weeks leading up to your vacation.

Worth the Wait: Toddlers can’t ride much else in Island of Adventure, so 30 minutes or so is a worthwhile wait time. For older children and adults, stick to 10 minutes or less.

Ride Restrictions: None. Guests in wheelchairs may remain in their chairs on the ride. Guests in ECVs will be asked to transfer to a wheelchair provided at the attraction.
