Height Restriction: Between 36” and 56” for children; children between 36” and 48” must have an accompanying adult; all adults must be accompanied by a child
Age Appropriateness: Anyone within the height restrictions. Taller guests cannot ride unless accompanying a child.
Seat Description: Two suspended seats per Pteranodon, one person in front of the other
Ride Description: Pteranodon Flyers is an exhilarating chance to soar over Jurassic Park and get a bird’s eye view of Camp Jurassic and other surrounding attractions. Your flyers are suspended from a track above you, so your feet dangle in mid air.
The ride is very smooth and relatively slow. As the Pteranodon makes its turns, your glider sways gently from side to side. Children of all ages can enjoy the attraction, provided that they meet the height restrictions.
Getting Ready: Learn all about Pteranodons and other dinos before setting out to the Sunshine State and see what your child can tell you about these prehistoric flying reptiles when you come face to face with your own flyer.
Worth the Wait: 30 minutes
Ride Restrictions: You should not ride this attraction if you:
- are expecting
- have a heart condition or abnormal blood pressure
- have neck, back, or similar physical conditions
- are susceptible to motion sickness
- are susceptible to a fear of heights
Guests in wheelchairs must be able to transfer to ride seating.
