Tri Wizard Spirit Rally

Just past the end of Hogsmeade but before you reach Hogwarts, you'll find a small stare area, distinguishable by the four school banners hung round a circular area. This open space hosts two Harry Potter-themed performances: The Hogwarts Frog Choir and Tri Wizard Spirit Rally.

The Tri Wizard Spirit Rally features the students of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. For those who aren't fully versed in the Harry Potter saga, the Durmstrang Institute is a wizarding school in northern Norway or Sweden, and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic is a wizarding school of France.

The burly Durmstrang boys perform a series of acrobatics, complete with shouts. Unsmiling, this lot is very serious about their jump and tumble portion of the show.

Meanwhile, the Beauxbatons girls in powder blue are all smiles and romantic sighs with their ribbon dance. If you've seen Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, you'll recognize the costumes and mannerisms pulled straight from the film, right down to the sticks of the Durmstrang boys.

The rally is hosted by an exuberant student from Hogwarts. This is a fun little show that truly brings the films to life. For the best view, grab a spot about ten minutes before the show. You'll notice a circular area set off by bricks inlaid in the ground. As long as you're on the outside of that area, you're good to go.
