Mardi Gras kicks of February 11 and the fun won't stop for three whole months. Mardi Gras is included in your regular park tickets, so be sure you have a two-park ticket, or use your one-parkers for a day at USF if you want in on the action during Mardi Gras events. The Mardi Gras celebration at Universal includes:

  • Concerts by big name celebrities
  • Performances by musicians straight from the streets of New Orleans
  • Cajun cuisine in the French Quarter
  • Mardi Gras parade, complete with beads
  • KidZone Mardi Pardi, daily

Mardi Gras Parades will take place on the following days:

February 11, 18, 19 and 25: 7:30p
March 3, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30: 7:30
March 31: 8:30p
April 7 and 14: 8:30p

Mardi Gras is usually thought of as an adult affair, but kids can get in on the action too at Universal. On parade days, children are welcome to participate in the Little Jester's Parade Viewing Area located in front of Termintor 2: 3-D. Start staking out your spot up to one hour before the parade.

The KidZone Mardi Pardi will take place daily throughout the Mardi Gras event at:
11:00a, 12:00p, 1:00p, 3:00p, 4:00p and 5:00p

All the action is sure to leave you famished. Be sure you don't miss out on the Cajun cooking fatured in the French Quarter, located near Twister. Menu items may include:
  • Shrimp Gumbo
  • Jambalaya
  • Red Beans and Rice
  • Andouille Sausage
  • Beignets
