Attraction Description: If I Ran the Zoo is a children’s play area that has all the imaginative, colorful creatures you would expect from a menagerie dreamt up by Dr. Seuss. Pay attention to the signs as you wander through for hints on special actions that will draw the animals out, such as tickling toes or filling a tub.

Small children can crawl through tunnels, stroll through kid-sized archways and slide down tunnel slides throughout the zoo. One section of the play area even features water if you’re equipped to get wet. If you have small ones who fall short of height restrictions on other rides, this is a great place to kill some time and burn off energy while the rest of your party hits up bigger attractions. You can also point out that much of the play area is tyke-sized and made “just for them” – a nice reassurance amid so many rides that are decidedly not.
