Show Description: The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad Stunt Show at fist glance seems to be Universal’s answer to Disney’s Indiana Jones. However, the Sinbad show lacks both recognizable characters and an interesting plot line. This is the only attraction at Universal that I’ve apologized to the rest of my party for dragging them to. Children who are action-adventure fans may enjoy some of the stunts, but teens and adults will surely find this attraction lacking.
The show takes place in a treasure-filled grotto where Sinbad
and his bumbling sidekick Kabob find themselves tasked with rescuing Princess
Amoura and defeating her captor, Miseria. A variety of evil minions show up to
overtake the duo, but the buff hero, feisty princess and purely lucky sidekick
predictably save the day. The show includes pyrotechnics, water effects and
plenty of tumbling.
Getting Ready: Check your seats to see if they’re marked as part of the
splash zone. Those seated in this area are sure to get wet. If possible, look
for a seat where your view isn’t obstructed by the giant mast mounted in the
center of the bleachers. If you take a liking to one of the characters, the
actors are available after the show for photos and autographs.
Worth the Wait: It's not worth much of a wait, especially in the heat and sun sans air conditioning. Try to show up as close to show time as possible. If you can't get seats, cut your losses and move on to the Wizarding World.
Ride Restrictions: You should not experience this attraction if you:
