The Lowes Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios Orlando brings luxury, comfort and a decadent taste of Italy to your vacation. Activities and Benefits
All guests staying at an on-site hotel receive early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, complimentary Universal Express ride access and access to the free water taxis and shuttle buses to and from the parks. If the parks haven’t kept you busy enough, Portofino Bay’s extensive activity list can fill in the gaps. Enjoy a game on the bocce ball courts, relax with a dive-in poolside movie, or head to the spa for a massage, mani/pedi or new ‘do.

Dining
The dining options at the Portofino Bay Hotel focus heavily on authentic Italian cuisine, to complete the experience of a getaway in Italy. For fine dining, make reservations at Bice Ristorante or Mama Della’s, open daily for dinner. Trattoria del Porto serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day in a casual atmosphere with signature Italian flair. Sal’s Market Deli is perfect for grabbing a quick bite. For poolside sustenance, Splendido Pizzeria serves casual food while The Thirsty Fish will keep you anything but thirsty. If you prefer your drinks in a dryer atmosphere, Bar American serves wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from 4pm to 11pm on select evenings. And of course, if you’d prefer to stay in the comfort of your room, room service is available 24 hours a day.

Every room at the Portofino Bay hotel is fitted with all the amenities you need for a deliciously comfortable stay. The décor is distinctly Mediterranean with dark wood furniture and welcoming shades of rustic red and sage green in the fabrics. Beds are fitted with 300-thread-count sheets and goose down comforters. Guests are provided with cotton bathrobes, daily newspapers and complimentary turndown service on request. Rooms are equipped with a 32” television, refreshment pantry and in-room safe. In-room wireless high-speed internet is available for an additional fee. Even the standard amenities have an upgraded flair with Emeril’s gourmet coffee by the coffee maker and Lather bath care products in the bathroom.

Standard rooms measure 450 square feet and have either one king or two queen beds. An additional rollaway bed is available for $25 per day to accommodate larger parties. Rooms look out over either the garden or the bay and harbor piazza.

Deluxe rooms measure 490 square feet with a single king or two queen beds. Rooms with Queen beds usually have a pull-out sofa as well. Deluxe rooms provide the added comfort of a separate tub and shower in the bathroom and look out over either the Villa Pool or Beach Pool.

Club Rooms give guests all the comfort of a Deluxe Room with the additional benefit of access to the Club Lounge. Complimentary coffee, tea and soft drinks are available throughout the day in addition to a daily continental breakfast, afternoon snack, evening hors d’oeuvres with beer and wine, and a sweet treat at the end of the night.

Kids Suites give the children a separate room with two twin beds attached to the adults’ room with a single king bed. The suite measures 650-675 square feet with a single bathroom. The kids’ room has a single access door into the main room, so everyone is safe and snug – with no sneaking out.

Portofino Suites include a 450 square foot parlor with a couch and several chairs in addition to the standard 450 square foot bedroom. You have your choice of one or two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, in addition to the half bath located off the parlor.

Villa Suites include one or two deluxe 490 square foot bedrooms as well as a parlor and dining area measuring an additional 620 square feet.
