Islands of Adventures hosts the classic Grinchmas celebration, but Universal Studios Florida isn’t left out of the fun this holiday season. If you’ve always dreamed of seeing the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, you can get a glimpse at the glory of the event with the Macy’s Holiday Parade at Universal Studios. This parade features genuine floats from the New York event as well as an appearance from Santa Claus. The parade takes place at dusk and is followed by a tree-lighting in the Holiday Village.
Though the Holiday Village doesn’t take on it’s fully lit glory until after dark, this holiday area is open from noon till park close daily throughout the season. Here guests can enjoy special holiday treats and crafts.
You may have heard that the Grinchmas celebration is set to music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, but did you know you can see them live yourself at Universal Studios? On select weekend dates, you can experience the Christmas music that’s been rocking the nation for more than 25 years.
If you can’t make it to a Mannheim Steamroller performance, you aren’t completely out of luck in the way of holiday music. The Blues Brothers, Barney and StarToons will all present special holiday performances for the season, ensuring a healthy dose of festive tunes for nearly any musical taste.
