Ride Description: The Accelatron is Professor Xaviar’s latest invention – a device designed to augment Storm’s abilities. The spinning cars generate energy that Storm can use to boost her own powers for battling Magneto. This is essentially the same concept as the iconic spinning teacups of Disney fame.

The ride spins you on three different axes – one circles the center of the Accelatron, the second rotates a series of three cars placed on a single plate, and the third turns your individual car. The wheel in the center of each vehicle can be manipulated to spin the car faster or slower.

As you careen around the platform, the power generator in the center will light up and flash as more energy is generated. Strobe lights above mimic Storm’s lightning. At the end of the experience you’re congratulated on a job well done. Magneto’s been defeated – this time.

Getting Ready: Unless you have a really strong stomach, don’t eat just before riding.
