Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous is so colorful and entertaining that the interior of this restaurant doubles as part of the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride. The entire building is designed to look like a circus tent, from the elephants flanking the doors to the trapeze artists gliding overhead. There’s so much to see that you may spend the majority of your meal craning your neck up and around trying to take it all in. The good news is that even a long meal line won’t seem that bad with so many circus acts to entertain you.
You can get all your standard quick service fare here so you’ll probably be able to find something for just about anyone. The one meal that does stand out is the Fabulous Fried Chicken Platter which comes with your choice of light or dark meat, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes and gravy.
For dessert you can grab a cup of Dippin’ Dots ice cream. The tiny beads of ice cream still strike me as strange out in the real world, but they’re perfectly suited to the quirky world of Dr. Seuss.
