Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster

Height Restriction: 36”

Age Appropriateness: Anyone tall enough to ride

Seat Type: Bench for two with a lap bar

Ride Description: Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster is designed to look like the silly joke-filled creation of the wise-cracking bird himself. Though Woody Woodpecker may be a forgotten character to some kids today, he's actually the icon of the park and this coaster is his signature attraction. This is a relatively slow moving coaster with only gentle hills and turns. It’s an ideal choice for kids who are new to thrill rides. Older guests won’t get much out of the short adventure, which lasts only about 45 seconds, but small visitors will get a thrill out of a ride so obviously designed just for them. Keep a look out in the queue for a few extra bells and whistles to play with while you wait.

Getting Ready: Make sure small riders are measured before you get in line. If they come up too short, shrug it off and move on.

Worth the Wait: Since there are so few rides for little kids, 20 to 30 minutes isn’t bad and even more may be worth it for kids who are excited to take on their very first roller coaster. Older guests should save their time for more thrilling attractions.
